**Meet Rahsaan Powell: The Fitness Expert from Western Maryland**

Hi, I'm Rahsaan Powell, but you can call me Rah. I've been immersed in the world of fitness since I was 12 years old, and it's been a lifelong journey ever since. Now, at 48, I'm still as passionate as ever about helping others achieve their fitness goals.

My journey led me to become a fitness professional based in Hagerstown, Washington County, Western Maryland. Over the years, I've learned a lot about the dedication and effort it takes to sculpt a strong, muscular physique. In fact, my own transformation took a decade of consistent hard work.

One of the things that surprised me along the way was how many people underestimate the time and effort required for real results. That's why I'm dedicated to educating others about the reality of natural bodybuilding versus shortcuts that sacrifice health.

I'm often asked about my training regimen, supplements, diet, and more. At my peak, I trained 5-6 days a week with an upper-lower split, but nowadays, I focus on 3-4 full-body sessions lasting 60-90 minutes each. And no, I've never used steroids—it's just not my thing. Instead, I rely on tried-and-true supplements like creatine and protein.

When it comes to nutrition, I emphasize high-protein meats like beef, chicken, and fish, along with plenty of leafy green vegetables, I personally like and drink whole milk. I also eat fruits like apples and bananas. And of course, avoiding processed foods, fried food, soda, and alcohol is key to reaching your fitness goals.

Five years ago, I teamed up with a friend Andre Johnson to open Strength Camp Maryland, a boot camp-style gym offering classes throughout the day, starting as early as 5 am. We focus on compound lifts like bench press, back squats, and rows, making it perfect for beginners and intermediate gym-goers alike.
